Санкт-Петербурга рассмотрел ходатайство следствия об избрании меры пресечения в виде заключения под стражу в отношении Андрея Жукова, обвиняемого в совершении преступления, предусмотренного ч.3 ст.30 - п.ж ч.2 ст.105 УК РФ (https://www.group-telegram.com/it/SPbGS.com/14696).
21.05.2023 Жуков был задержан в порядке ст.91 УПК РФ. 22.05.2023 ему было предъявлено обвинение. Вину признал частично.
Обвиняемый и защитник не возражали.
Суд ходатайство следствия удовлетворил, избрав Жукову стражу по 20.07.2023.

"Someone posing as a Ukrainian citizen just joins the chat and starts spreading misinformation, or gathers data, like the location of shelters," Tsekhanovska said, noting how false messages have urged Ukrainians to turn off their phones at a specific time of night, citing cybersafety. Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. "We as Ukrainians believe that the truth is on our side, whether it's truth that you're proclaiming about the war and everything else, why would you want to hide it?," he said.
