Депутаты гордумы уже приняли решение, что уже с 2025 года гости Екатеринбурга будут перечислять в бюджет 1% от стоимости номера в гостинице, но не менее 100₽ за каждые сутки пребывания. Затем налог будет увеличиваться и в 2029 году вообще дойдет до 5%.
По оценке УФНС, за год благодаря введению турналога в бюджет города поступит 84,2 миллионов рублей. Деньги должны пустить на развитие туристической инфраструктуры.
