Основа политической платформы сближение с Россией, включая введение рублёвой зоны и предоставление Российского гражданства.
Все что смог сделать Мешков для сближения с Россией - это переход Крыма на Московское время.
Был снят с поста 17 марта 1995 года из-за отменены Киевом Крымской Конституции и законов, превращение в Автономную Республику Крым без суверенитета в составе Украины, по сути, оставив Крыму только название «автономии» с правами обычной области.

One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice.
