27 октября в офисе Свердловского «Яблока» в Екатеринбурге прошёл традиционный вечер писем политическим заключённым. А мы традиционно помогали в организации мероприятия.
С самыми тёплыми пожеланиями было написано:

Людям, оказавшимся в заключении за свои взгляды и убеждения, очень важно получать поддержку! Недавно освободившийся из колонии Алексей Москалёв рассказал*, какие чувства он испытывал, получая письма от неравнодушных сограждан. И это не может не растрогать 😭
Поэтому призываем Вас делать мир чуточку добрее, оставляя послания тем, кому это необходимо! И особенно благодарим тех, кто уже это делает!

On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. Some people used the platform to organize ahead of the storming of the U.S. Capitol in January 2021, and last month Senator Mark Warner sent a letter to Durov urging him to curb Russian information operations on Telegram. The perpetrators use various names to carry out the investment scams. They may also impersonate or clone licensed capital market intermediaries by using the names, logos, credentials, websites and other details of the legitimate entities to promote the illegal schemes.
