Эмираты зимой. Нынешний короткий визит в ОАЭ деловой, но не упускаем возможности хотя бы разок в день принять морскую ванну. Сейчас здесь самый холодный период в году. Море 20-21 градус, вода идеально прозрачная, воздух днём максимум до 25, ночью 18-20 градусов. Через пару недель будет совсем тепло, а к началу мая и по октябрь невыносимо жарко, до 50 градусов иногда. В этом году сейчас прохладнее, чем в прошлом, когда мы были в этих же числах. Да и вообще Дубай не для пляжного отдыха. Это новый деловой центр, один из крупнейших в мире. Для отдыха больше подходят другие Эмираты: Рас аль Хайма, Фуджейра, Аджман и даже Шарджа, непосредственно примыкающая к Дубаю. Мы ранее опробовали все из них для осенне-зимнего отдыха. The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 230 points, or 0.7%. Meanwhile, the S&P 500 and the Nasdaq Composite dropped 1.3% and 2.2%, respectively. All three indexes began the day with gains before selling off. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise. That hurt tech stocks. For the past few weeks, the 10-year yield has traded between 1.72% and 2%, as traders moved into the bond for safety when Russia headlines were ugly—and out of it when headlines improved. Now, the yield is touching its pandemic-era high. If the yield breaks above that level, that could signal that it’s on a sustainable path higher. Higher long-dated bond yields make future profits less valuable—and many tech companies are valued on the basis of profits forecast for many years in the future.
