Я очень люблю оказываться на больших производствах. Всегда хотел побывать на иркутской плотине ГЭС и даже как-то придумал себе способ туда попасть.

Осенью прошлого года мне сильно повезло и я побывал еще и на Братской и Усть-Илимской ГЭС. Это было для выставочного проекта в галерее Бронштейна от компании ЭН+.

Сейчас идет последняя неделя этой выставки, обязательно сходите, там очень много красивого и масштабного искусства по мотивам красивого и масштабного производства.

А в ближайшую субботу мы с другими участниками выставки проведем экскурсию и расскажем как это все было и где какие смыслы. Приходите!

At the start of 2018, the company attempted to launch an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) which would enable it to enable payments (and earn the cash that comes from doing so). The initial signals were promising, especially given Telegram’s user base is already fairly crypto-savvy. It raised an initial tranche of cash – worth more than a billion dollars – to help develop the coin before opening sales to the public. Unfortunately, third-party sales of coins bought in those initial fundraising rounds raised the ire of the SEC, which brought the hammer down on the whole operation. In 2020, officials ordered Telegram to pay a fine of $18.5 million and hand back much of the cash that it had raised. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights. Following this, Sebi, in an order passed in January 2022, established that the administrators of a Telegram channel having a large subscriber base enticed the subscribers to act upon recommendations that were circulated by those administrators on the channel, leading to significant price and volume impact in various scrips. Although some channels have been removed, the curation process is considered opaque and insufficient by analysts. These entities are reportedly operating nine Telegram channels with more than five million subscribers to whom they were making recommendations on selected listed scrips. Such recommendations induced the investors to deal in the said scrips, thereby creating artificial volume and price rise.
