44й - предпобедный год
И ждет фашизм суровая расплата
А здесь, в горах, детей и стариков
Поставили под дула автоматов

Так «родина», коварства не тая
Им уделила жизнь и смерть в опале
А братья их, отцы и сыновья,
Сражались за нее и умирали

13 долгих лет мы шли во тьму
По выжженным и вымершим дорогам
И выжили, наперекор всему,
И обрели себя, по воле Бога

Нас убивали день за днем в веках
Огнем и сталью, голодом и пулей
Надежду в детях, мудрость в стариках
Но мы из ада этого вернулись

Вернулись, потому что проросли
Сквозь глыбы бед, как травы через камень
И сохранили для родной земли
Любовь, мятежный дух и сердца пламень

И этой горькой памяти верны
Крепить Отчизну будем год от года
И помнить это мы всегда должны -
Уж слишком стоит дорого свобода
