Морпехи, участвующие в дальнем походе отряда кораблей и судов обеспечения Северного флота, совершили марш по континентальной части Чукотского полуострова от берега Северного Ледовитого океана до Тихоокеанского побережья на двухзвенных снегоболотоходах ДТ-10П «Витязь». Протяженность маршрута – более 300 километров.
Во время марша военнослужащими Северного флота отрабатывалась тактика рейдовых действий по поиску и уничтожению разведывательно-диверсионных групп и были проведены боевые стрельбы.
