🇽🇰🇹🇷 В рамках модернизации «сил безопасности» Республика Косово закупает военную технику у Турции. Причём делает она это согласно 10-летнему плану реформирования вооруженных сил - не трудно догадаться, что в конечном итоге он рассчитан на создание полноценной армии и вступление самопровозглашенного государства в НАТО.
На днях Косово стало первым иностранным оператором бронированной машины Vuran Kirpi, которая уже стоит на вооружении в Турции. Это детище BMC Otomotiv, созданное в сотрудничестве с крупнейшей в стране фирмой военной электроники Aselsan.
В общей сложности будет закуплено 14 единиц. При этом основные бронемашины, используемые косовскими бойцами (Otokar Cobra) также производят турки. Да и в целом, турецкая бронетехника на Балканах последнее время играет не последнюю роль - уже налажен экспорт отдельных моделей в Болгарию, Черногорию и Северную Македонию. #Косово #Турция

Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Telegram was co-founded by Pavel and Nikolai Durov, the brothers who had previously created VKontakte. VK is Russia’s equivalent of Facebook, a social network used for public and private messaging, audio and video sharing as well as online gaming. In January, SimpleWeb reported that VK was Russia’s fourth most-visited website, after Yandex, YouTube and Google’s Russian-language homepage. In 2016, Forbes’ Michael Solomon described Pavel Durov (pictured, below) as the “Mark Zuckerberg of Russia.” On Telegram’s website, it says that Pavel Durov “supports Telegram financially and ideologically while Nikolai (Duvov)’s input is technological.” Currently, the Telegram team is based in Dubai, having moved around from Berlin, London and Singapore after departing Russia. Meanwhile, the company which owns Telegram is registered in the British Virgin Islands. In addition, Telegram's architecture limits the ability to slow the spread of false information: the lack of a central public feed, and the fact that comments are easily disabled in channels, reduce the space for public pushback.
