In the Beta version of Telegram for Android, channel administrators with the "Change Channel Info" permission can now enable star reactions.
When enabled, any user can send a star reaction to any channel post.
You can customize how many stars to send to a post by pressing and holding the star icon. The app will display an interface for selecting the number of stars and show which user has sent the most stars among those who reacted to the post with a star reaction.
Furthermore, you can send stars anonymously. In this case, users will only see an anonymous user figure along with the amount of stars sent.

In 2018, Russia banned Telegram although it reversed the prohibition two years later. Either way, Durov says that he withdrew his resignation but that he was ousted from his company anyway. The Bureau of Labor Statistics' February Consumer Price Index (CPI) this week showed another surge in prices even before Russia escalated its attacks in Ukraine. The headline CPI — soaring 7.9% over last year — underscored the sticky inflationary pressures reverberating across the U.S. economy, with everything from groceries to rents and airline fares getting more expensive for everyday consumers. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis."
