Открытым является продух, обеспечивающий его функционирование по назначению, а именно обеспечение вентиляции (проветривания) соответствующего помещения, в котором оборудован продух. В этой связи оборудование продухов, проемов, каналов и отверстий сетками или жалюзийными решетками не означает, что такие продухи, проемы, каналы и отверстия являются закрытыми.
