Не берусь судить, насколько мы действительно внешне похожи, но кроме области интересов и шевелюры у нас есть еще кое-что общее: мы вообще-то земляки. Ведь отец Миклухо-Маклая Николай Ильич Миклуха был родом из Стародубского уезда Черниговской губернии, как и мои предки по отцовской линии. Мне, конечно, до него как до Луны, но назовите мне хоть одного из современных "титулованных" российских этнологов с грудой бесполезной макулатуры, кто по таланту, профессиональным и, что важно, человеческим (это особенно актуально в нынешнее судьбоносное время) качествам стоит хотя бы мизинца моего великого земляка.
