Кроме основной работы женщина много лет руководит профсоюзом и является «серебряным» волонтёром. Она активно участвует в волонтёрской деятельности в с. Балдаево, помогая участникам специальной военной операции.
За свой многолетний труд Людмила Семеновна удостоилась нескольких наград. Среди них почётные грамоты Минздрава Чувашии, Государственного Совета, юбилейная медаль «90 лет профсоюзу работников государственных учреждений России».
