С подобной патологией карельские врачи столкнулись впервые: 67-летняя пациентка поступила в нейрохирургическое отделение РБ СЭМП с кровотечением из опухоли околоушной слюнной железы.
Гигантское новообразование занимало всю переднебоковую поверхность шеи и лица пенсионерки. Ее лечили специалисты различных профилей Больницы скорой помощи и Республиканской больницы им. В.А. Баранова.
Ей провели операцию по удалению опухоли и закрыли дефект с помощью пластической хирургии. Сейчас пациентка восстанавливается в амбулаторных условиях.
