В Ираке при взрыве в воинской части Kalsu в провинции Бабиль погиб боец "Хашд Аш-Шааби", еще восемь силовиков получили ранения. Объект получил значительные повреждения за счет вторичной детонации хранившихся на объекте боеприпасов. Власти Ирака заявили, что в момент инцидента в небе не было зафиксировано самолетов и БПЛА.

Это не помешало многим обвинить в происшествии ВВС США, которые, впрочем, неоднократно наносили удары по объектам "Хашд Аш-Шааби" в Ираке. Пентагон заявил, что американские самолеты не наносили ударов по Kalsu.

Проиранские ресурсы обвинили в произошедшем Израиль. Самолеты якобы нанесли удары в качестве ответа на участие спонсируемых Тегераном боевиков в операции "Правдивое обещание" и регулярные обстрелы израильской территории.
