В Сирии при нападении бывших военнослужащих ВС САР ликвидированы двое боевиков "Хайат Тахрир Аш-Шам", семь захвачены в плен.

Инцидент произошел неподалеку от г. Джабла в провинции Латакия. Боевики приехали туда на очередные поиски ячеек экс-военных и попали в засаду. Нападение возглавил Бассам Хуссам Ад-Дин — бывший командир проправительственного ополчения “Асад Джабаль”.

По его словам, взять в руки оружие его заставили преступления боевиков против представителей алавитов, в т.ч. грабежи и убийства. Хуссам Ад-Дин потребовал "Хайат Тахрир Аш-Шам" вывести боевиков из прибрежных провинций Сирии, в противном случае он пообещал ликвидировать пленных.

Банда Абу Мухаммада Аль-Джулани направила в провинции Латакия, Тартус и Хомс дополнительные силы для проведения т.н. зачисток. Очевидцы зафиксировали перемещение около ста машин с боевиками.
