My advice would be to stay determined, passionate, and firm for what you want and give it all you have. Failing won't really be failing if you did all you can.

Dear Colleagues,

I would like to request your assistance in promoting wide dissemination in Africa of the IAEA Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme. We would like to see a large number of young African women apply for this fellowship programme.

The International Atomic Energy Agency has recently launched the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme (MSCFP), aimed at encouraging young women to pursue a career in nuclear science and technology, nuclear safety and security, or non-proliferation.

The Programme will provide scholarships for up to 100 selected applicants annually, subject to availability of funds. It will cover university tuition fees up to 10,000 euros per year and living expenses based on the cost of living for the university’s location, up to 10,000 euros per year, for a maximum of two years.

The application process is now open for the MSCFP 2020 cycle, for scholarships in academic years 2020/2021 and 2021/2022. Scholarships will be awarded for up to 2 years of study for Master’s degrees in nuclear related fields only. Examples of related fields are listed here.

It would be greatly appreciated if you could share information about this opportunity within your network and Country Offices , to encourage qualified African female candidates to apply.

The deadline for applications is 11 October. More information on MSCFP can be found on www.iaea.org/MSCFP, including detailed instructions on how to apply.

Hey Everyone,

We wanted to share a valuable opportunity with you to participate in a program called "Enabib" that is geared towards giving high school students the platform to develop and lead initiatives that address cultural, social, and economic factors that may hinder effective menstrual health management in Ethiopia. This program is launched by a student organization called Harvard Undergraduate Partners for Action in Africa (HUPAA). Participating in this program will provide a boost to your college application as it will enrich your extracurricular activities. On top of that, you will also play a role in the movement against period poverty in Ethiopia.

If you are interested, you can look at the infographics below that shed light on the nature of the program, how to apply, the requirements and everything you need to know about the program.

Just to ask one question and if any of u bright ppl know it pls let me know @fluffyweird
A friend who is almost a senior at a US college asked the following

Does it matter if you’re black/white or girl/man when it comes to applying for jobs/internships? I know resume and experience plays a huge role but I also feel like ethnicity and gender matters. I had seen a video saying they would want black people for “diversity “ purposes but Ive also seen another one explaining how he used the exact same resumes one as a black person and one as a white person and the white figure got a LOT more interviews even tho the application was IDENTICAL to the black figure. So does it really matter?
