Вице-спикер ЗакСа Павел Иткин не исключил, что новые названия прежде безымянных скверов следом используют для названия остановок общественного транспорта, расположенных рядом. По обращению, которое приходило к нему, скверу на углу Загородного проспекта и Верейской улицы присвоили имя писателя Дмитрия Мамина-Сибиряка.
