По данным ведомства, вечером 23 ноября школьница зашла в хозпостройку, чтобы покормить скот. Вероятно, два быка вышли в коридор загона и один из них ударил девушку по голове рогом, в результате чего она потеряла сознание. Затем ее искусали свиньи. От полученных повреждений девушка скончалась.
По предварительным данным судебно-медицинского эксперта, смерть наступила по причине острой кровопотери в результате повреждения бедренной артерии.
