Очаг возгорания находился в правом крыле здания. На первом этаже тлела проводка под обшивкой, наблюдалось задымление на первом и втором этажах. К настоящему моменту возгорание ликвидировано.
В ходе проверки было установлено, что при установке домофона была повреждена электропроводка, что привело к короткому замыканию.
