Чтобы избежать распада СССР и последующего кошмара вполне достаточно было - ничего не делать. Ни ускорения, ни перестройки. Ни выборов в Верховный совет. Ни гласности. И спокойно продержались бы ещё поколение или два. До подъема цен на нефть, например. А как стали сами разрушать собственный дом, так он и обрушился. Это очень легко доказать. Просто глядя на недавние события. Кто не боится, не делает уступок и стоит твёрдо - тот побеждает. Янукович убежал из Киева - майдан победил. Лукашенко не побежал - и ничего не случилось. Нельзя было заставить советское руководство уйти из Европы и сдать власть. А само оно вполне могло так поступить и поступило... Брежнев в этом не виноват, он этого не делал.

In the past, it was noticed that through bulk SMSes, investors were induced to invest in or purchase the stocks of certain listed companies. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice. Telegram has become more interventionist over time, and has steadily increased its efforts to shut down these accounts. But this has also meant that the company has also engaged with lawmakers more generally, although it maintains that it doesn’t do so willingly. For instance, in September 2021, Telegram reportedly blocked a chat bot in support of (Putin critic) Alexei Navalny during Russia’s most recent parliamentary elections. Pavel Durov was quoted at the time saying that the company was obliged to follow a “legitimate” law of the land. He added that as Apple and Google both follow the law, to violate it would give both platforms a reason to boot the messenger from its stores. As a result, the pandemic saw many newcomers to Telegram, including prominent anti-vaccine activists who used the app's hands-off approach to share false information on shots, a study from the Institute for Strategic Dialogue shows. "The inflation fire was already hot and now with war-driven inflation added to the mix, it will grow even hotter, setting off a scramble by the world’s central banks to pull back their stimulus earlier than expected," Chris Rupkey, chief economist at FWDBONDS, wrote in an email. "A spike in inflation rates has preceded economic recessions historically and this time prices have soared to levels that once again pose a threat to growth."
