Суд не стал арестовывать преподавателя из Екатеринбурга по уголовному делу о военных фейках
Сотруднику Уральского государственного горного университета Сергею Абрамову избрали меру пресечения в виде запрета определенных действий, сообщила пресс-служба суда.
Абрамова обвиняют в распространении фейков об армии с использованием своего служебного положения (пункт «а» части 2 статьи 207.3 УК РФ). В основу дела легли его высказывания на лекции в марте 2024 года. По утверждению провластного канала Ural Mash, преподаватель «вел пропаганду украинских ценностей и дискредитировал ВС РФ среди студентов».

Again, in contrast to Facebook, Google and Twitter, Telegram's founder Pavel Durov runs his company in relative secrecy from Dubai. On February 27th, Durov posted that Channels were becoming a source of unverified information and that the company lacks the ability to check on their veracity. He urged users to be mistrustful of the things shared on Channels, and initially threatened to block the feature in the countries involved for the length of the war, saying that he didn’t want Telegram to be used to aggravate conflict or incite ethnic hatred. He did, however, walk back this plan when it became clear that they had also become a vital communications tool for Ukrainian officials and citizens to help coordinate their resistance and evacuations. Apparently upbeat developments in Russia's discussions with Ukraine helped at least temporarily send investors back into risk assets. Russian President Vladimir Putin said during a meeting with his Belarusian counterpart Alexander Lukashenko that there were "certain positive developments" occurring in the talks with Ukraine, according to a transcript of their meeting. Putin added that discussions were happening "almost on a daily basis." The gold standard of encryption, known as end-to-end encryption, where only the sender and person who receives the message are able to see it, is available on Telegram only when the Secret Chat function is enabled. Voice and video calls are also completely encrypted. The message was not authentic, with the real Zelenskiy soon denying the claim on his official Telegram channel, but the incident highlighted a major problem: disinformation quickly spreads unchecked on the encrypted app.
