Для конкурса «Безнең авыл» | «Мир татарской деревни» от «Миллиард.Татар» и Института истории им. Ш. Марджани были отправлены фотографии исторической мечети деревни Старый Утямыш Черемшанского района.
Высокая одноэтажная мечеть с восьмиугольным минаретом была построена в 1876 году и ни разу с тех пор не закрывалась, является единственной мечетью в этой деревне. При ремонте мечети в начале 1990-х голов деревянные стены были обложены силикатным кирпичом.
Памятник культовой архитектуры татар с традиционным объемно-планировочным решением, выделяющийся своеобразными формами минарета и обновленной обшивкой стен.
