31 октября 2024 года cостоялась встреча с депутатом Государственной Думы Сергеем Павловичем Обуховым на которой обсуждались вопросы так называемого «благоустройства» объекта культурного наследия регионального значения и особо охраняемой природной территории природно-исторического парка «Сокольники». С наказами к депутату выступили активисты - защитника парка, среди которых был и Почётный житель района Сокольники, председатель Клуба краеведов района Сокольники Фёдор Александрович Евдокимов. По результатам обсуждения единогласно была принята резолюция встречи, в которой нашли отражение дальнейшие действия, направленные на сохранение нашего любимого парка Сокольники.
