Константин был обвинен в убийстве литовских таможенников на пограничном посту «Мядининкай» к юго-востоку от Вильнюса в июле 1991 года и приговорен к пожизненному заключению без представления на то доказательств. Уже 17 лет его заветная мечта–вернуться на Родину, которая продолжает бороться за него.
