причем "рок" здесь - понятие весьма условное. расцвет деятельности музыкантов пришелся на 90ые и, в отличие от других команд 90-х, Primal Scream не пошли по проторенному пути альтернативного рока, начав смешивать в своей музыке совершенно разноплановые жанры - психоделику, фанк, хаус, бигбит, экспериментальную электронику, снабжая все это старым добрым рок-н-роллом.
смесь получилась по-настоящему гремучей!
очень люблю шестой их альбом - Exterminator (или XTRMNTR), практически полностью электронный и полностью оправдывающий свое название: этот истребитель вытрясет из вас всю душу.
сейчас Primal Scream ушли от своих экспериментов и играют обычный такой инди-рок, но от ранних их альбомов просто дух захватывает!
