⛰ Горный массив и одноимённый мыс в юго-восточном Крыму между Феодосией и Судаком имеет греческое происхождение своего названия. Оно образовано от двух слов: μέγας - большой, просторный и νόμος - пастбище, владение.

⛱ Одно из самых засушливых мест в Крыму: климат здесь полупустынный, а осадки очень редки. Скалистые берега и склоны почти лишены растительности и поэтому активно выветриваются.
