Хмяльніцкай прысудзілі 5,5 года калоніі. Яе абвінавацілі паводле ч. 1 арт 342 КК (актыўны ўдзел у дзеяннях, якія груба парушаюць грамадскі парадак) і ч. 2 арт. 361-3 КК (фінансаванне ўдзелу на тэрыторыі замежнай дзяржавы ў ваенных дзеяннях). За кратамі яна правяла трохі больш за год.
