Отдельно в подкасте обсудили одну из жемчужин индустриальной архитектуры Оренбурга - здание фильтровальной станции уральского водозабора 1927 года постройки, архитектор Иван Васильевич Рянгин.

Здание уникально ещё и тем что в 30-е годы 20 века в других городах подобные объекты проектировали в новом стиле конструктивизма, в Оренбурге же Рянгин спроектирвал станцию в абсолютно классическом кирпичном стиле с отсылками на псевдоготику, добавив в декор серп и молот.
