21 и 22 февраля в Зелёном зале петербургского Театрального музея (Зодчего Росси, 2А) пройдёт премьера оперы Цезаря Кюи «Красная Шапочка» в постановке Лидии Ульзутуевой. Участвовать в спектакле будут артисты детского оперного театра Strekozza.
Опера Кюи была написана в 1911 году на либретто Марины Поль, смягчившей знаменитую версию Шарля Перро: волка в этой «Красной Шапочке» не убивают, а в финале он раскаивается и обещает впредь никому не делать зла. Опера-сказка для детей в двух действиях была посвящена царевичу Алексею. По задумке Кюи, исполнять «Красную Шапочку» должны были юные артисты — она предназначалась для домашнего спектакля с участием детей Николая II. Однако та постановка так и не была осуществлена, а впоследствии оперу исполняли только взрослые: театр Strekozza подчёркивает, что станет первым, кто воплотит замысел композитора.
