Вчера в книжном клубе "Под обложкой" на обсуждении романа Нейтана Хилла "Велнесс" (Фантом Пресс) собралось почти сто человек, не считая специальных гостей и нас с Женей. И когда я взяла в руки микрофон, чтобы открыть новый клубный сезон книгой Фантома, как и ровно год назад, то посмотрела на полный зал красивых, умных, читающих людей и книги с цветными закладками на столах, вспомнила наш живой и активный чат, наши камерные встречи и душевную Книжную Ёлку (где удалось, как я мечтала, собрать читателей, писателей, переводчиков, релакторов и издателей на одной вечеринке) и осознала, как много всего успело произойти "Под обложкой" за этот год!

Telegram was founded in 2013 by two Russian brothers, Nikolai and Pavel Durov. Channels are not fully encrypted, end-to-end. All communications on a Telegram channel can be seen by anyone on the channel and are also visible to Telegram. Telegram may be asked by a government to hand over the communications from a channel. Telegram has a history of standing up to Russian government requests for data, but how comfortable you are relying on that history to predict future behavior is up to you. Because Telegram has this data, it may also be stolen by hackers or leaked by an internal employee. Individual messages can be fully encrypted. But the user has to turn on that function. It's not automatic, as it is on Signal and WhatsApp. "The result is on this photo: fiery 'greetings' to the invaders," the Security Service of Ukraine wrote alongside a photo showing several military vehicles among plumes of black smoke. The War on Fakes channel has repeatedly attempted to push conspiracies that footage from Ukraine is somehow being falsified. One post on the channel from February 24 claimed without evidence that a widely viewed photo of a Ukrainian woman injured in an airstrike in the city of Chuhuiv was doctored and that the woman was seen in a different photo days later without injuries. The post, which has over 600,000 views, also baselessly claimed that the woman's blood was actually makeup or grape juice.
