An interesting i18n issue of CSS flexbox styling I recently found in an unreleased product.
When an input field label is improperly styled flexbox, the label may be pushed by other elements and cause the text to wrap. If the label is as short as one word, it could be hard to notice in most languages as there is no line break chance usually within one word. However, in CJKT, text can be wrapped within a “word”, which could cause the label to stretch vertically even if it is short. #i18nfails 🐟

It’s trying to make the design like one made by the children themselves, including using Arial as the overall font, seemingly basic colors, and default slideshow animations from time to time.
But there are still all kinds of details shouting out that it is from Apple. Like some animations made available through videos that are clearly from Apple’s stock animation library, screenshots that wouldn’t be possible if you don’t already have a Mac, Genmoji for non-standard emoji, and of course all the legal footnotes that they had to include every here and there.
Yet, as a slideshow from Apple, it’s still interesting to see some inconsistencies acorss slides, like the use of
