По легенде учений, которые прошли в рамках Арктической экспедиции МЧС по Чукотке, в 20 км от города провалился под лёд автомобиль. По сообщению очевидцев, находившиеся внутри "Запорожца" люди смогли самостоятельно выбраться из машины. Спасатели добрались к месту происшествия на вездеходе "Бурлак". В операции участвовали 15 человек, включая троих водолазов. Автомобиль подняли со дна при помощи телеуправляемого подводного аппарата.

Just days after Russia invaded Ukraine, Durov wrote that Telegram was "increasingly becoming a source of unverified information," and he worried about the app being used to "incite ethnic hatred."
