На видео, снятом в одном из храмов Киево-Печерской лавры, слышно, как верующие поют песню «Похвала Пресвятой Богородицы», в которой есть строки: «Звон плывет, плывет над Россией, Пробуждается матушка-Русь».
Руководитель СБУ Василий Малюк заявил, что ведомство начало расследование по факту произошедшего. По мнению силовика, такие песнопения вредят безопасности и интересам Украины и граждан.
