Next Tuesday, a comrade from PostKom, a platform for activists in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, will speak about Poland's role in the European border regime and the struggle of our friends on the ground against it.
In addition to the increasing militarization of the border area with Belarus and the ongoing complicity in preventing conscripts from escaping the war in Ukraine, permanent border controls as well as increased fascist mobilization has contributed to a significant deterioration of the situation on the border with Germany in recent months.
After the input we will open the room for thoughts and ideas on how internationalists and antifascist on all sides of the borders could counter these worrisome developments.
We'll start around 8pm at Café Cralle, Hochstädter Straße 10a.
Proceeds from our tasty soli-drink will go to PostKom.

Irish Bloc Berlin Statement on the Political Deportations of EU Citizens in Germany
1st April 2025 | Instagram
Four activists – two Irish citizens, one Polish citizen and one US citizen – have been ordered to leave Germany by April 21, 2025 with one reason: protesting Germany’s complicity in the genocide in Palestine. Berlin’s Interior Ministry has issued deportation orders based on accusations of “antisemitism” and support for “terrorist organisations” – claims entirely without evidence or legal basis. None of the four have a criminal record.
Even Berlin’s immigration office (LEA) initially rejected the orders, recognising they lacked legal grounds, but was pressured into compliance by the Interior Ministry, as evidenced by email threads obtained by the activists’ legal defence team. The deportation orders were ultimately signed by LEA Director Engelhard Mazanke.

On cowardice of European pacifism
Beautifully said!
"... ideological pacifists in Europe. ... prefer to sit in the comfort of academic circles and discuss war, NATO, and imperialism. We have never yet seen any pacifists willing to go into Ukraine and stand between the tanks of Ukrainian and Russian troops or to agitate Russian troops to leave the occupied territories. We have not seen a single Western pacifist willing to risk his own freedom and safety by going to Russia to agitate soldiers to defect or resist mobilization.
International solidarity is a difficult job, requiring a considerable amount of not only organizational effort, but also political education, to understand what that solidarity means in an individual situation"

As you probably know, On Friday, April 4, russia hit a playground in Kryvyi Rih with a cluster munition missile. Meaning it explodes into smaller explosives in the air so as to cover bigger area. And in the evening of the same day, russians attacked the city again with drones, and again there were casualties.
The strike hit a busy area of the city, where there are cafes, a school, residential buildings, and a playground. Families with children were walking there, people were returning home in the evening.
18 people were killed, including 9 children, and more than 70 people were injured. There were only a few minutes after the air raid alarm went off and the missile exploded. 😢
A friend of mine witnessed the explosion. Luckily they're unhurt, at least physically.
The same day russians also attacked other regions. I read the news that a woman, a mother got burnt alive at home.
They know there where children and they know it hurts the most, so they targeted children. Again. But of course they deny and say they were targeting "a restaurant where military where dining" 🤦♀️
Here's more details https://www.pravda.com.ua/eng/news/2025/04/5/7506186/
This is called "russkiy mir" - russian world and peace (it's one word in russian). There can only be peace if you are fully in the russian world and only if you fully obey it (though, no guarantee here). Yes slaves also live in peace.
I'm lacking words here. It's just so freaking hurtful! I, we, Ukrainians are sooo angry! How can one not be?! 🤬🤬🤬

But let's not give in to despair! Ukraine is still standing, we're still fighting! 🇺🇦
And so does an activtist friend of mine. A young woman called Lisa in 2022 gave up her masters studies of Psychology and her climate- vegan- fem-activism and joined Armed Forces of Ukraine. Her military nickname is Mavka.
Mavka needs a pickup truck to do her job protecting Ukrainian children (and kitties!). In my city we've already managed to collect 1000 Euros but this is unfortunately not enough for the car she needs.
Please chip in however much!
Details about her and the campaign on her fb page
Paypal email [email protected] (in dollars)
"buy her a coffee" here
And here you can transfer to her Ukrainian bank accounts
monobank and privat
Remember, there are no small donations, every dollar/euro counts!
Please react to this post when you donate. So that I know it works. And share it with your speaking friends and family

Tomorrow, on Tuesday 08.04.2025, a comrade from PostKom, a platform for activists in Eastern and Southeastern Europe, will speak about Poland's role in the European border regime and the struggle of our friends on the ground against it.
