Усть-Катавский вагоностроительный завод (УКВЗ) поставит в Челябинск 74 односекционных трамвая за 5,5 млрд руб.
Как сообщил Миндортранс Челябинской области, производитель победил в двух конкурсах (на поставку 41 и 33 машин), объявленных в начале октября. УКВЗ стал единственным участником закупки, снижения по цене не было. Подвижной состав должен быть поставлен в Челябинск с января по октябрь 2023 года.
Согласно технических требованиям, трамваи должны быть низкопольными, вместимостью до 150 человек (38 сидячих мест), с 4 асинхронными двигателями, запасом автономного хода не менее 500 м, длиной по кузову в 16,5 м. Отдельно отмечено, что машины должны быть готовы работать по системе многих единиц (СМЕ) из 2-х вагонов (УКВЗ заявлял о готовности выпускать такие трамваи). Окраска кузова предполагается по аналогии с той, которая применяется на трамваях УКВЗ модели 71-628, поставляемых сейчас в город.
