Восьмиосная цистерна 15-1271 «Находка» разработана «РМ Рейл» по заказу «Федеральной грузовой компании» (ФГК). В ней реализован полужесткий сцеп двух вагонов, осевая нагрузка – 25 тс. Общий объем кузова 184 м³ , по 92 м³ на секцию, грузоподъемность – 150 т. Отмечается, что в центре она на 6 см шире, чем по краям. Презентация вагона прошла прошлым летом в рамках салона «PRO//Движение.Экспо».
Заявляется, что цистерна сможет перевозить на 14% больше светлых и темных нефтепродуктов в сравнении с существующими моделями в составе условного поезда длиной 988 м. В прошлом августе гендиректор ФГК Виктор Воронович анонсировал, что компания планирует приобрести в 2024-2026 годах до 10 тыс. восьмиосных цистерн.
