Как говорится в соответствующем постановлении: «В шокирующем пренебрежении правами своих граждан ЮАР недавно приняла закон, позволяющий правительству Южной Африки конфисковать сельскохозяйственную собственность этнических меньшинств африканеров (представители белого меньшинства в ЮАР - ред.) без компенсации».
Также отмечается, что «Южная Африка заняла агрессивную позицию по отношению к Соединенным Штатам и их союзникам, включая обвинение Израиля, а не ХАМАС, в геноциде в Международном суде и активизацию своих отношений с Ираном для разработки торговых, военных и ядерных соглашений».
В качестве санкционных мер Соединенные Штаты:
- не будут оказывать помощь или содействие Южной Африке; - будут содействовать переселению беженцев-африканеров в США и предоставлять им убежище.
