В Абхазии массовые протесты, оппозиция пыталась прорваться в здание госбезопасности, заблокирована республиканская трасса

Причиной протестов стало жёсткое задержание пятерых активистов оппозиции, борющихся против строительства «многофункциональных комплексов» в Абхазии. В лоббировании строительства этих комплексов жители обвиняют бывшего главу Краснодарского края и министра сельского хозяйства — Александра Ткачёва.

После того, как местные СМИ облетели кадры задержания оппозиционеров, представляющих ряд политических организаций и Союз ветеранов войны, жители республики возмутились. Люди окружили здание Службы госбезопасности (местный аналог ФСБ) и потребовали освободить задержанных.

В связи с протестами президент страны Аслан Бжания провёл экстренное заседание Совбеза. Протесты начались 11 ноября, но ситуация для властей остаётся сложной.
