Андрей Картаполов, глава комитета по обороне, обратился к Следственному комитету с просьбой провести проверку в отношении Чубайса на предмет возможных преступлений.
Дополнительно депутаты запросили у генерального прокурора России Игоря Краснова материалы по ранее возбужденным уголовным делам в отношении Чубайса.
