31 июля 2024 года Генеральный консул России в Эрбиле М.О.Рубин провел встречу с членом политбюро Демократической партии Курдистана Х.Хаврами.
В ходе беседы состоялся обстоятельный обмен мнениями по актуальным темам международной и региональной повестки дня с акцентом на ситуацию в Курдском автономном районе (КАР) в контексте подготовки к запланированным на 20 октября парламентским выборам в автономии.
Были также затронуты пути укрепления традиционно дружественных связей России с КАР.

On July 31, Mr. Maxim Rubin, Consul General of Russia in Erbil, met with Mr. Hemin Hawrami, member of the Kurdistan Democratic Party Politburo.
During the conversation, the parties exchanged their views on current topics on the international and regional agenda, with an emphasis on the situation in the Kurdish Autonomous Region (KAR) in the context of preparations for the parliamentary elections scheduled for October 20.
Ways to strengthen the traditionally friendly ties between Russia and the autonomy were also touched upon.
