Блокада унесла жизни более миллиона человек. Большая часть из них погибли от голода и обстрелов, другая часть — умерли, защищая город, и во время эвакуации .

Вместе с коллегами из Петербургского «Яблока» мы почтили их память, принесли цветы на Пискаревское кладбище в Петербурге.

Пискаревское кладбище - для каждого ленинградца, петербуржца, россиянина - святое место. И огромная беда нашего народа в том, что слова Ольги Берггольц, высеченные в камне на Пискаревском мемориале «Ничто не забыто», с годами стали нивелированы.

Человеческая жизнь, безусловная ценность мира - вот о чем думаю, приходя к могилам ленинградцев и защитников города.

And that is why they let people choose whether they want their messages to be encrypted or not. When not turned on, though, chats are stored on Telegram's services, which are scattered throughout the world. But it has "disclosed 0 bytes of user data to third parties, including governments," Telegram states on its website. At its heart, Telegram is little more than a messaging app like WhatsApp or Signal. But it also offers open channels that enable a single user, or a group of users, to communicate with large numbers in a method similar to a Twitter account. This has proven to be both a blessing and a curse for Telegram and its users, since these channels can be used for both good and ill. Right now, as Wired reports, the app is a key way for Ukrainians to receive updates from the government during the invasion. Soloviev also promoted the channel in a post he shared on his own Telegram, which has 580,000 followers. The post recommended his viewers subscribe to "War on Fakes" in a time of fake news. "The result is on this photo: fiery 'greetings' to the invaders," the Security Service of Ukraine wrote alongside a photo showing several military vehicles among plumes of black smoke.
