Trotz „einiger inhaltlicher Unschärfen und Schwächen“ zielten die Maßnahmen von #CDU und #CSU in die richtige Richtung, dabei sei es unerheblich, ob auch die AfD diesen zustimme. Es gehe um „ein politisches Signal des Deutschen Bundestages“.
Laut Lindner soll die Entwicklungshilfe künftig an die Bereitschaft von Ländern geknüpft werden, abgeschobene Flüchtlinge aufzunehmen. Der FDP-Politiker rief auch die SPD und die Grünen dazu auf, in der Migrationspolitik umzudenken und den Anträgen zuzustimmen.
