📉 Bundeswehr hat erneut weniger Soldaten – trotz mehr Einstellungen

Die #Bundeswehr verzeichnet erneut einen leichten Rückgang der Truppenstärke. Zum Jahresende 2024 habe es rund 181.150 Soldaten gegeben, sagte eine Sprecherin des Verteidigungsministeriums der dpa in #Berlin. Ein Jahr zuvor, zum Stichtag 31. Dezember 2023, waren es noch 181.500 gewesen.

Mit Hinweis auf mehr Bewerbungen und Einstellungen sprach das Ministerium davon, eine „Trendumkehr“ erreicht zu haben. 2024 habe es rund 20.300 Einstellungen gegeben, rund 8% mehr als im Vorjahr. Das entspricht 1500 zusätzlichen Neueinstellungen.
