В ночь с 31 декабря 2024 года на 1 января 2025 года на площади Революции в Вологде прошел праздничный концерт «А у нас Новый год!», который является частью проекта губернатора области Георгия Филимонова «Зима Русского Севера».

А в полночь вологжане вместе со всей страной послушали новогоднее обращение президента России Владимира Путина, которое транслировалось на большом экране, и под бой курантов встретили Новый 2025 год.
