Из-за очень теплой зимы птицы прилетели поздно и в заметно малом составе. Обычно орланы гостят во Владивостоке три-четыре месяца в году - прилетают в декабре и остаются здесь до начала марта. В настоящий момент на Токаревском маяке было замечено 10 птиц, среди которых всего один белоплечий орлан.
