Ему также приписывают теракт 26.04.2022 в Карачи, когда по той же схеме пояс смертника активировала член Армии освобождения Белуджистана - погибли еще 3 гражданина КНР.
Соратники Рафика по "Техрик-и Талибан Пакистан"* подтвердили, что он перестал выходить на связь. В The Khorasan Diary утверждают, что получили кадры, на которых видно его тело с пулевыми ранениями.
