Врио главы городского округа Олег Моргун напомнил, что 30 ноября является памятной датой для всех ликвидаторов Чернобыльской катастрофы. В этот день ровно 38 лет назад было завершено строительство объекта «Укрытие» - гигантского саркофага, который укрыл разрушенный четвертый энергоблок АЭС. Поэтому этот день в народе неофициально прозвали Чернобыльским Днем Победы.
Мариупольцы были в первых рядах ликвидаторов радиационного заражения, поучаствовав в самой беспрецедентной в истории человечества спасательной операции.
