«Это значительно подрывает возможности администрации вести переговоры о прекращении огня и сигнализирует России, что нам неважна Украина и наши предыдущие инвестиции», — заявил один из представителей USAID в в разговоре с NBC News. USAID также значительно сократит свое присутствие в Украине — из 64 сотрудников останутся лишь 8 человек.

The original Telegram channel has expanded into a web of accounts for different locations, including specific pages made for individual Russian cities. There's also an English-language website, which states it is owned by the people who run the Telegram channels. Under the Sebi Act, the regulator has the power to carry out search and seizure of books, registers, documents including electronics and digital devices from any person associated with the securities market. Such instructions could actually endanger people — citizens receive air strike warnings via smartphone alerts. "And that set off kind of a battle royale for control of the platform that Durov eventually lost," said Nathalie Maréchal of the Washington advocacy group Ranking Digital Rights.
