Дипломатов неприятно удивило внимание журналистов к их деятельности — ранее встреча посла и генконсулов трёх стран в «Ельцин-центре» попала в объективы фотокамер.
Было принято решение «не палить» агентуру — местные активисты воспринимаются дипломатами как проводники западных интересов, поэтому этот ценный актив уберегли от внимания СМИ.
